Stress Relief

You still haven’t bought the turkey or Christmas pud, the tree is outside the door where the deliveryman left it, your cards are in a pile unwritten, and your presents in a carrier bag unwrapped. Where are you are going to get the time to do everything?

Sort It

  • Delegate - assign a task to each family member. Get one wrapping, another decorating the tree, another writing the cards and so on. Play some carols or uplifting music to create a calm, quiet atmosphere. Avoid last minute food shopping and order online now from your favourite supermarket to secure a delivery spot.
  • Work out which traditions mean the most and scrap the rest to reduce your workload. For example, go for the fake holly, and forget homemade mince pies. Look out for natural varieties in your local health store.
  • For instant calm put a quarter of a teaspoon of ginger and honey in a cup of warm water and sip slowly.
  • Breathe deeply. Take 10 long, slow deep breaths. As you inhale, hold your breath for three seconds, then breathe out in one easy exhalation.

Are you feeling demotivated?
Have you lost your mojo?
Are you feeling tired and achy or old before your time?
Are you scared because you can't think straight or lose track of what you were saying mid sentence?
Have you put so much weight on and your clothes are tight?

Does this sound like you? Are you ready for a change?
