How To Reclaim Your Mojo At Midlife. Welcome to this week’s ‘Weekly Wisdom’, where this week I'm going to be focusing on how you can reclaim your mojo at midlife.
Our research shows that very often menopausal women have low levels of important nutrients - things like magnesium, for example, was the most common deficiency, and often other essential nutrients such as iron, zinc, calcium and vitamin D are in short supply.
So what does this mean exactly?
Our bodies require many different vitamins and minerals that are crucial for both body development and preventing disease. Many aren’t produced naturally in the body, so you have to get them from your diet. Our brains need optimum nutrient levels in order to function normally. So when you have low levels of nutrients, this can can lead to a variety of health problems.

I find that on my programme, when we get nutrients back into an optimum range, it can improve both mental and physical symptoms of menopause, so it’s really important to make sure you’re filling up on really good nutrients, having a wholesome diet and really focusing on looking after yourself. With my patients we find that:
- Over 90 percent of them are symptom-free within five months
- They often report feeling better than they can remember
- They get back not just their mojo, but also their zest for life
- They have more energy and increased libido
- As they look in the mirror and recognize themselves again they don't feel like an alien has possessed them
