The Unexpected Symptoms of Menopause - Maryon Stewart

The sneaky and unexpected symptoms of menopause that might take you by surprise.

When it comes to symptoms of menopause, people automatically think of hot flushes and night sweats, and I have to say I was just as guilty as you. But when I did a survey of over a thousand women in my Facebook group, I found out that wasn't the case at all. You need to understand that menopause isn't that simple. It's not just about the hot flushes and night sweats, there are lots of other things that happen to you.

This week I want to talk about those sneaky and unexpected symptoms of menopause.

Very often menopause takes women by surprise. Certainly, in the last few months, I've found that there are thousands of women in their forties going into an early menopause, and they're absolutely shocked by what happens to them because they're not expecting anything.

There are so many different symptoms that can come in the lead up to menopause such as:

  • If you've had a bit of PMS, you may find that you're suddenly getting PMS for more days a month.
  • Maybe you start feeling, "Is it hot in here or am I imagining it," as you get these thermal surges going through your body,
  • Aches and pains and just feeling old before your time

Watch me talk about the unexpected symptoms of menopause in the video below and how you can use a non-drug approach to deal with them.

If you are really worried about what’s happening with your body and the symptoms have come on suddenly, then you should go to your doctor and get checked out.
